Have you ever realized how difficult it can be to find the words to say or actions to take to help support your family or friends during tough times? We often try and find comforting words or simple gestures to show them that we are thinking of them. It’s those little things that count in times of darkness. In this episode, I talk with Erika Norton. She bravely shares with us the tragic story of her father passing away and how her and her family were supported during that difficult time. We talk about the power of one small gesture, such as a card or a text, can make on a friend who is going through a tough time in their lives. She shares with us some of the ways she was supported and reminds us that we are not alone. It is my hope that this episode inspires you to reach out to someone, because we truly never know what someone may be going through at any given point in their lives. We can all take a moment to infuse a little more compassion into our lives.
