Warm lemon water every morning, hello vitamin c! Rehydrate your body, helps your digestive system get going, and restore your PH balance. Stimulate your liver and flush out toxins.
Take five deep breaths in and out. Inhale through your nose for a count of five, then a loud exhale through your mouth. This will help bring you at ease by focusing on your breath. (Inhale/exhale)
When you take the time to enjoy your food, You indulge, chew slowly. Take time to be present in the moment.
Take a break from your computer/desk. Go take a walk around the office, go for a quick break outside, or even do some squat reps in the bathroom stall, I promise we won’t judge. It is so beneficial for your body & brain. So go get up like right now.. we will wait here.
When your outside, whether it’s eating lunch or playing with the kids, just kick off your shoes for a bit. Being barefoot can help you ground yourself with Mother Earth and feel more relaxed and instantly improve your mood.
In your car on the way to work, school, kids drop off, heck even the line at Dunkin’ Donuts waiting for your coffee. Think about exactly what you want. It may even be something as simple as getting the perfect parking spot at work. Or it could be something as “Today I intend to be more mindful of my eating and drink more water”
Express daily gratitude .. why why why am I hearing this everywhere.. because it really works! It will keep you in a high vibe state of mind, feeling amazing and really seeing the beauty in everyday life. Sometimes we miss out on the little things, that we should be grateful for in that moment. You could also express your gratitude for someone else, write a little thank you card, go live on Facebook for your clients, do what feels good to you!
Celebrate your WINS of the day.. it could be the simplest thing such as, I drank enough water today, go me! You don’t have to post them everywhere but write it in your journal, celebrate it! Life is an amazing gift and we should celebrate it every single day!
I practice daily gratitude every day! I keep a journal by my bedside, every morning I open my eyes and think of at least 5 things I’m grateful for. At night I do the same right before bed. The best part about this practice is that once you start you will start to feel the shift and if you fall off, don’t beat yourself up over it. You just pick right up where you left off.
